One of the 15 fortifications of Konigsberg, constructed at the end of the XIX century, the fortress was built of brick and concrete, with trenches and firing positions for the artillery. Nowadays, the fort is a branch of Kaliningrad Regional Museum of History and Arts and open for visitors.
